In a high-pressure environment, our teams will occasionally make mistakes or underperform. This can be a triggering moment for leaders, especially those who tend toward perfectionism.

Follow Marcus Aurelius’ advice and “correct them gently.” Otherwise, the fear of their boss’ critique will only exacerbate their stress and lead to more missteps.
