RN Process – all Steps

Changing your behavioral patterns requires changing the activity and pathways in your brain. Making such change requires a dedicated process.

Coaching in combination with your process is key in facilitating the habits, repetition, and commitment to make any desired brain changes permanent.

As part of my work with clients, we employ an “active transformation” process where we go through 5 key steps:

  1. Clarify vision: Set goals and specific conditions of success.

  2. Identify obstacles: Determine internal and external barriers.

  3. Systematize routines: Implement routines that put you on track toward consistent measurable progress.

  4. Acknowledge milestones: Recognize progress against the baseline using chronological markers.

  5. Anchor new behaviors: Observe what new positive patterns have emerged, further build and solidify them so that the optimal habits become the new standard.

Over the next couple of weeks, I will dedicate a post each week to each of these steps to take you through the processes in order to anchor new behaviors.
